Krafka named to D2CCA All-Southeast Region first team:
Lander’s Kaitlyn Krafka was selected to the D2CCA (Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association) All-Southeast Region first team, the organization announced today.
Krafka, a 5-10 freshman outside hitter from Kyle, Texas, leads the Peach Belt Conference in kills (429), kills per set (4.25), total attacks (1,246) and points (467.0), while ranking second in points per set (4.6) and eighth in digs (337) and digs per set (3.34).
Krafka is the third Bearcat in four seasons to be named to the D2CCA All-Southeast Region team, joining second-team selections Halle Dotson and Julia Ferreira-Alves.
The Bearcats return to the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, as fifth-seeded Lander faces fourth-seeded Anderson at 5:00 p.m., in the opening round of the NCAA Southeast Regional in Wingate, N.C.
