Lander University canceling classes in response to Hurricane Florence. In anticipation of the hazardous weather likely to impact the Upstate by Hurricane Florence, Lander University is cancelling all classes after 5.pm. today (Thursday, Sept. 13). No classes will be held on Friday, Sept. 14. While classes are cancelled, University offices will remain open on a normal schedule for employees.
