• Lander senior center Breshay Johnson is one of three players in the Peach Belt Conference averaging over 18 points and seven rebounds per game. The Hopkins, S.C. native passed Lorain Truesdale for fourth-place on Lander’s all-time scoring list in the win over Limestone.
• The Bearcats have excelled at the free throw line this season, averaging 20 made free throws per game, second-most in the league.
• Lander continues to be one of the nation’s most aggressive defenses. The Bearcats have forced at least 20 turnovers in all three games this season.
• Junior transfer guard Chelsea Mitchell wasted little time making her presence known for the Bearcats. She leads the team in rebounding with 8.3 per game and is the only guard in the PBC averaging at least 4.0 offensive rebounds per game.
• Senior guard Mylea McKenith is tied for second in the conference with 4.0 steals per game.
• Wingate leads the overall series 8-4.
• The Bulldogs are the third 2017 NCAA Tournament participant the Bearcats have faced through four games this season.
