Gaffney, S.C. – After compiling a 2-2 record in this past week’s PBC/SAC Crossover, the Lander volleyball team (11-7, 2-4 PBC) will return to action on Tuesday for an in-state matchup against Limestone (4-10, 4-6 CC) at 7:00 p.m.

STORYLINES:
- The Bearcats are riding high ahead of Tuesday’s contest after an incredible 3-2 comeback victory over Tusculum on Saturday. Lander dropped the first two sets 25-16 and 31-29, before rallying with three consecutive victories to notch the team’s 11th win of the season.
- Freshman right side hitterHannah Hritz is looking to continue her exceptional play on Tuesday. Hritz ranks sixth in the Peach Belt with 222 kills to go along with a 3.22 kills per set percentage.
- Senior right-side hitterReyonia Whipple currently ranks number one in the Peach Belt in three separate statistical categories. Whipple holds a 1.30 blocks per set percentage, to go along with 90 solo blocks and 80 assisted blocks.
- Limestone currently ranks fourth in the South Division of the Conference Carolinas. The Saints have traded a win with a loss in their last four contests. The team lost to Emmanuel 3-1 in its last outing.
- The Saints are led by junior libero Erin Kennedy. Kennedy leads the Conference Carolinas with an impressive 5.08 digs per set percentage.
