Milledgeville, Ga. – After winning two of three matches in the team’s latest homestand, the Lander volleyball team (9-2, 2-1 PBC) is set to travel south for a conference clash with Georgia College (6-2, 2-1 PBC) on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

STORYLINES:
- In Lander’s last outing, the Bearcats had a season-high five-match winning streak snapped by Augusta as the Jaguars took the 3-1 victory.
- FreshmanNell Copeland recorded a career-high 20 digs in the losing effort against the Jaguars.
- SeniorReyonia Whipple enters Tuesday’s contest leading the Peach Belt Conference with 58 blocks. The talented right side hitter also leads the conference in blocks assists and blocks per set.
- Sophomore liberoHannah McManus garnered praise as the PBC Defensive Specialist of the Week on Sept. 19th. McManus leads the team with 222 digs on the year.
- FreshmanHannah Hritz leads the Bearcats with 144 kills on the season, good enough for third overall in conference. Hritz is also just one of two freshman to tally over 100 kills in the Peach Belt this year.
- Georgia College is riding a two-match win streak ahead of Tuesday’s match with Lander. The Bobcats defeated Francis Marion 3-2 on Friday before cruising past UNC Pembroke in straight sets on Saturday.
