Anderson, S.C. – The No. 24-ranked Lander men’s soccer team (3-1) will be back in action on Wednesday as the Bearcats travel to take on Anderson (2-1) at 7:30 p.m in a battle of interstate foes.

STORYLINES:
- This is the first head-to-head between the two sides since Anderson defeated Lander in a 2-1 match held in Greenwood in 2011.
- Anderson is the third of seven teams hailing from the South Atlantic Conference that Lander will face this season. The Bearcats fell to Lenoir-Rhyne 3-0 on Sept. 3 and then defeated Tusculum on Sunday to split their first two games against SAC opponents.
- Anderson was tabbed to finish 10th in the SAC Preseason Poll.
- Lander enters Wednesday’s contest leading the Peach Belt Conference in goals with 11 and in assists with nine.
