The 1980’s campus needed a coffeeshop!
By Becca Watford
It’s the end of the semester with finals coming up, and most of our students are living off coffee. Now in the 1980’s, Lander University didn’t even have a coffee shop on campus. In an April edition of the LU forum in 1985, they students wrote a piece about how they needed a coffeeshop on campus. It would improve their grades, social lives and help out the teachers too. I’m not sure if I could personally live without our Starbucks on campus, especially during this time of the semester. Be thankful for our coffee shop in 2017 and good luck on your exams!
