Opportunity to launch the Southeast Film Showcase

    GREENWOOD, S.C. – Filmmakers from across the South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida are invited to help launch the Southeast Film Showcase, the newest addition the annual Lander University Film Festival.

    Filmmakers may submit short narrative films (15 minutes or less) made within the past ten years for entry in the showcase competition and screening. There is no thematic limitation but films must be PG-13.

    Finalists will be shown during the Film Festival, April 20-22, at Lander University in Greenwood. One winner will be chosen based on technical and artistic merit to receive a cash prize of $250 and video production equipment provided by ProAm USA.

    * How to submit: Submit in H.264 format by SD card or flash drive to Tom Neal, Lander University CPO 6009, 320 Stanley Ave. Greenwood SC 29649. Registration and upload is also available through the festival website, www.landerfilmfestival.com.

    * Entry fee: $40

    * Deadline: March 31, 2017

    * Rules/guidelines: Narrative short film, 15 minutes or less, made within past 10 years. Films must be PG-13 in order to be considered or screened on campus.
