GREENWOOD – The Lander women’s basketball team concludes the regular season on Wednesday afternoon as the Bearcats host Georgia College at 5:30 p.m. in Horne Arena. The Bearcats and Bobcats will face each other again in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

STORYLINES
• Lander (21-6) is returning home for the first time since February 11 after playing three consecutive games on the road.
• The Bearcats clinched their third consecutive Peach Belt Conference Eastern Division title on Saturday with an 87-74 win over Augusta. Lander is the first team in program history to win the East three straight years.
• Georgia College leads the all-time series 26-19, but the Bearcats won both meetings last season.
• Lander has won 11 of its last 12 games, including six in a row at home.
• Sophomore guard Victoria Baldwin played a combined 47 minutes in Lander’s wins over Augusta and Young Harris, the most of any two-game PBC stretch of her career.
• Lander has won 11 consecutive games at home against Eastern division opponents and 20 of its last 21 meetings against Eastern division teams in Horne Arena.
• Senior guard Ty’hesha Reynolds is currently second on Lander’s all-time scoring list with 1,584 career points. Reynolds is 160 points away from tying Shannon McKever for first place.
