Discounts Offered to Lander Students
A majority of college students are on a limited budget and always looking for discounts. In the Greenwood area, selected restaurants and businesses offer marked down prices to Lander students, who show their identification cards for proof.
For example, a worker from Papa John’s Pizza, Trisha Barcliff, states the restaurant has five different, discounted meals. She states, “A small one topping pizza and twenty ounce drink is $8, and a medium one topping pizza is $7, carry out only. A large one topping pizza is $8, carry out only.”
La Fogata of Greenwood also offers discount to Lander students. La Fogata issues 10% off of the entire meal at checkout.
Concerning businesses, Premiere Cinema 10 Greenwood allows Lander students to purchase movie tickets at the low cost of $7.
A Lander ID must be shown to each of these places in order to receive the discounts. Although a meal plan is offered from Lander, it can be nice to switch up foods by eating out in the local town, especially when it is cheaper than usual.
