Overseas travels were always fun! Lander University has a long history of sending our students overseas to study. A young man named Brian Easler was one of the students in 1995. He decided to participate in a program that was active at the time called the Lander-Brighton Humanities Exchange, which was run by Dr. Carol Wilson (Lander University) and Dr. Bob Brecker (University of Brighton, England).
Easler decided to go to England in Spring semester of 1995 and wanted to go so he could gather materials on concentration camps in Poland, and work on his senior thesis. This program began in 1991, and is like the Winchester program we have at Lander in present day. They, however, exchanged only four students, two from Lander and two from Brighton.
