Q&A: Who has been your favorite professor at Lander and why?
Various students at Lander University were asked who their favorite professor has been since their time at Lander began.

If I had to choose it would be my advisor Ms. Lucas. Anytime I need her either be it for school purposes or personal, she is there. There was a time I had a very bac day, and it lead to a panic attack. I went to her and she listened and walked with me until I calmed down. She’s had a big impact on my life. I honestly don’t know what I would do without Ms. Lucas.

My favorite teacher was Dr. Ryan because she pushed me very hard to exceed past what I thought I could do. Also, Dr. Ryan always had her office door open for help and was willing to help. She pushed me to become a better person and to believe in myself more. Without the toughness, she gave and caring attitude she always had, I would not be as confident as I am now not only in my math skills but in life.

My favorite professor at Lander is Paul Crutcher. He actually informed me this past semester about another outlet which is Radio. He’s very passionate and he really cares about his students.

My favorite professor at lander is Dr. Sacerdote because she cares about her students’ lives and wants us to all succeed and does her best to help us do so.

I would say Christine Sacerdote hands down. She’s been my professor all throughout my college career. She’s always had this huge heart and truly cares about making sure we are ready and prepared to be in the classroom. She never sugarcoats things and tells you how it is, but at the end of the day, that’s exactly what we need. She is someone I want to make proud of me.
I’m glad to see that teachers are getting recognition for doing positive things for their students and helping. Personally I would say my favorite would be Carpenter. I had him basically since I was a freshman and he’s a great person! He’s always there to help and he’s a funny guy. If you need help, he’ll push you in the right direction and make sure you know what you’re doing.
