Ouija: Origin of Evil is the original story from the 2014 Ouija movie. If you have seen the 2014 movie, then you have an idea of what this movie will be about.

It all starts with a game that is used to speak with the dead. The game has specific rules associated with it like: never play alone, never play in a grave yard, and always say goodbye. The story follows Alice (Elizabeth Reaser) and her daughters Lina (Annalise Basso) and Doris (Lulu Wilson). They use talking to the dead to make a living by helping people say goodbye to their family members.

Doris starts to not act like herself and more like a malevolent demon as it naturally goes in this type of movie. There were some frightening scenes and has a very good flow as to how the original story came about. The main plot could have had a better step by step process; it felt fast paced towards the ending. Overall it was an entertaining movie with a few jump scenes. For sure would recommend going to see it if you love supernatural movies.

Opened in theaters October 20, 2016.
