Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children

By: Ashley Brazzel

Directed by Tim Burton and based on the best-selling novel by Ransom Riggs. The story of a boy, Jake (Asa Butterfield) who discovers an unforgettable world and a magical place filled with children with imaginable abilities. Jake finds that he will protect these children from any dangers that may face them all. The mystery involved in the magic of Harry Potter and the thrill of X-Men said in the trailer.

This movie will take you back to fantasy and magic with the love of true family as Jake and the rest fight for each other’s survival. The true meaning of the importance of life and skills needed to act in the well-known fight or flight moments.  Definitely one of my personal new favorites.

Opened in theaters September 29, 2016. A must see if you are interested in both fantasy and violence.
