Freshman students move into their new campus home at Lander University
As summer draws to a close, students across the country are gearing up for their first college experience. Approximately 700 incoming freshmen converged upon campus during Lander University’s annual Freshman Move-In Day (August 17).
Arriving in vehicles loaded down with supplies, students and their families were met by a group of helpful volunteers on hand to make life a little easier for the newest members of the Lander community. Using hand-trucks, dollies and manpower, the group quickly unloaded and carried small refrigerators, furniture, lamps, mirrors, clothing and other essentials to the rooms. Upperclassman return to residence halls on August 18. Classes begin on Monday, August 22.
