Due to the expected impacts of Hurricane Irma on our region, Lander University will be closed on Monday, Sept. 11. Essential personnel should report to campus unless otherwise directed by their supervisors. A decision regarding the University’s operating status for Tuesday, Sept. 12, will be made on Monday.
Students, faculty and staff should continue to monitor Lander email for important updates regarding any changes to campus services and activities. During inclement weather, essential services will still be available for residential students, including dining, security and health services.

Due to the expected effects of Hurricane Irma, the Lander women’s soccer match scheduled for Monday, September 11, against Emmanuel has been postponed.
The match is expected to be made up at a later date.
The Bearcats return to action on Saturday evening with the Peach Belt Conference opener against Clayton State at 5:00 p.m. at Van Taylor Stadium.
